We're in the business of healing...but we still have to be a business.

Although our first love is helping others, the reality is that we have to operate efficiently in order to continue having the opportunity to do that.  Because that's the case, we adhere to the following business policies:

Payment Policy:
We require payment at the time of service, in the form of cash, check, Mastercard/Visa/Discover Card, or Care Credit.

Financing Options:
We offer several financing options -- some of which are interest-free -- through a plan called Care Credit, which is administered by GE Credit Services.  Applying for this program takes just a few minutes and can be done on-line, on the telephone, or in our office.  If you are interested in financing options, please ask us for further information.

Access to Dr. Daccardi Policy:
We want to provide the best care possible and to ensure, to the best of our ability, that your health-related concerns are being addressed in a timely manner.  If you have questions or concerns that arise between visits, please call our office.  Dr. Daccardi will respond to your call the same day.  If you call after business hours, we will respond to your call within 24 hours.

Cancellation Policy:
When you make an appointment, we set aside that block of time just for you.  And when you miss that appointment without notifying us in advance,  it wastes time that we could have spent with another client.   So, please do us the courtesy of notifying us at least 24 hours in advance if, for some reason, you are unable to keep your appointment.  If you do not notify us in advance of your cancellation, we reserve the right to charge for missed appointments.

Late Policy:
Please make every effort to be on time, or even a little bit early to your appointment, to ensure that you will have as much time as you have reserved to work with Dr. Daccardi.  We strive to minimize waiting-time, so in order to be fair to other patients, we must end your appointment at the pre-arranged time regardless of when you arrive.

About Insurance

We're often asked, "Are your services covered by my insurance?" Unfortunately, the answer varies greatly from person to person, depending upon your policy.

We are considered "out-of-network" chiropractic providers. If you have "out-of-network" chiropractic benefits in your policy, then most of our services should be covered, except for some cutting-edge technologies and therapies that are not known to the insurance profession yet.

Above all, we want you to be comfortable and happy with our service. So, if it is important to you to know whether our services are covered by your insurance policy prior to meeting with Dr. Daccardi, please call your insurance company to verify your coverage prior to becoming a client. Unfortunately, we are not able to do this for you.

Did you know that "Insurance Coding" is now a college major?

That's how complex the system has become. Getting reimbursed by insurance companies requires doctors to hire extremely specialized staff members and/or consulting companies these days to submit and resubmit claim after claim. Because we are a small office, we are not able to bill insurance companies on your behalf. If we did, it would require us to raise our fees significantly to cover these costs.

The bottom line is that we are here to focus 100% of our energy on providing you with exceptional care every time we see you. Period. And we want you to be in control of your own health choices -- not your insurance company.

"Super Bills"

Upon request, we can provide you with what the insurance industry calls a "super bill," which is a receipt containing insurance industry procedure and diagnosis codes, so that you can file claims and receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company. To do this, you will need a claims form from your insurance company, which is very often downloadable from their website. Then, you can use the codes provided on your Super Bill to complete the claims form and mail it in. We will be happy to answer any questions about this process for you.
